OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition hit India

The OnePlus 6 has officially hit India, just a day after it was launched in London and a few hours after making its debut in China. The handset has been leaked pretty extensively these past few months, revealing nearly everything about the device.

Like before, OnePlus is making its latest flagship phone a bit more expensive than its last flagship phone. The OnePlus 6 starts at Rs 34999 for its 6GB/64GB variant, Rs 2000 more than the OnePlus 5T’s entry-level option. The new smartphone rises to Rs 39999 for the 8GB/128GB version, before finishing things off at Rs 44999 for the 8GB/256GB iteration.

There are four options to choose from here. The first is a reflective Mirror Black, the second is a matte Midnight Black, the third is a premium Silk White, and the fourth is a special Marvel Avengers Limited Edition. The first two are going to be available on May 21 in a Prime-only sale on Amazon India.

Both Amazon India and OnePlus’ site will sell the Mirror Black and Midnight Black OnePlus 6 on May 22 in an open sale. The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition is set to arrive on May 29 only in an 8GB/256GB option. Lastly, the Silk White edition is coming in June only in an 8GB/128GB combination.

The OnePlus 6 offers plenty of changes for fans to gawk at, including its controversial notch design, all-glass body, and iPhone X-esque gestures. OIS is back after giving the OnePlus 5T a miss, complimented by the addition of 480fps slow-motion video at 720p. The 16MP + 20MP dual cameras can even shoot 4K video at 60fps now.
