The OnePlus 6 may not be here yet, but that hasn’t stopped the company from announcing all the offers which will come bundled with the handset. The latest one concerns a partnership with Idea Cellular through which buyers will get cashbacks and free data.
In terms of price, rumors so far have suggested that the OnePlus 6 will start at Rs 36999 for the 64GB model and increase to Rs 39999 for the 128GB variant. This is fairly expensive, which may be why the company is eager to make the device look more attractive to buyers with a wide variety of deals.
Idea subscribers will get device insurance, VoLTE support, and Rs 2000 as cashback if they snap up the OnePlus 6. Postpaid users will get a Rs 100 cut per month for 20 billing cycles when they stick to the operator’s Nirvana 499 plan. They’ll also get 10GB of extra data every month .
Prepaid Idea customers who purchase the OnePlus 6 will gain 1.1GB of additional data per day on every Rs 199 recharge. The plan lasts for 28 days, while the offer can be taken up 12 times. This adds up to 370GB of free data. However, there’s no cashback being promised here.
OnePlus itself is currently conducting a Fast AF (Fast And First) sale which will grant early birds a Rs 1000 discount on the OnePlus 6. SBI credit and debit card holders get a Rs 2000 cut. There will also be no cost EMI options for up to 3 months, a year-long accidental damage insurance provided through Servify, and flight and hotel booking offers worth Rs 25000 from Cleartrip.
