The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has been unveiled in India, with the handset set to vend exclusively through Flipkart starting from March 23. It’s been slapped with a Rs 8499 price tag, placing it in the highly competitive entry-level market segment.
The dual-SIM Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is being positioned as the successor to the A6000 and A6000 Plus. So much so, the brand has announced a special exchange and upgrade offer for users of the older handsets. India is notably the first market the phone is getting launched in, a wise choice given the popularity of budget smartphones here.
To recollect, Lenovo had announced 2 versions of the handset at its international debut during the MWC 2016. There’s no word yet on whether the lower-specced Vibe K5 will find its way here any time soon. The phone differs from the Plus model in terms of two aspects namely its Snapdragon 415 processor and 5-inch 720p screen.

As for its photography skills, the smartphone packs a 13MP autofocus camera with LED flash, paired alongside a 5MP selfie snapper. It additionally derives its power from a 2750mAh removable battery.
