The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is all set to land in India on March 15, with the brand confirming the news by sending out press invites for the event. The phone is making its way to the country just a few weeks after the handset had been announced at the MWC 2016.
The brand had also launched a lower-specced version of the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus at the occasion. The invite doesn’t mention whether this version of the phone is getting unveiled here as well. There isn’t much of a difference in terms of features between the two, with the only notable ones being the display and processor.
Coming to its price, the Vibe K5 Plus retails for $149. This roughly translates to about Rs 10200, a good match for its affordable specs. Taking a closer look at these, the handset sports a 5-inch LCD screen which displays its visuals in full HD. It’s daily tasks are handled by an octa-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC with the aid of 2GB of RAM.

With regards to its camera skills, the Lenovo device shoots photos and videos via a 13MP autofocus main snapper equipped with LED flash. A 5MP front-facing shooter takes care of selfies and video calls. Users can take advantage of 16GB of ROM to store their data and expand on its memory capabilities up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
