Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 open sale set for April 27

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is all set to be sold in an open sale on April 27. The vending will take place at 2pm via the brand’s own site.

To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 had arrived in the country back in March and has been available through the flash sale model ever since. The new open sale was announced via the company’s local Twitter handle. It should be noted that the post links to the company’s website, which probably means that only the vending taking place there will be free of registrations.

Buyers also have the option of getting the Redmi Note 3 through Amazon. However, they’ll have to register for the April 27 sale on the e-commerce site. Previous sales of the handset have seen units of the phone disappearing in a flash. Over 8.5 lakh people had registered themselves for the phone within a span of 5 days.

Its possible Xiaomi is trying to appease these individuals with the open sale. Its tweet mentions that it has added more stock of the phone, though it hasn’t specified just how much. There’s also no word on whether the phone will continue to be sold registration-free or if this is a one-off occasion.
