The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has just concluded its first flash sale in India, with the handset getting sold out pretty quickly. The next sale for the handset is set to take place on March 16 at 2pm via Amazon and the brand’s site.

There aren’t any details of how many Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 units were sold during the first flash sale or how long they took to sell out as of now. It’s likely there are a number of disappointed buyers in India given that over 8.5 lakh people had registered for the device within a span of 5 days.

It’s probably an attractive proposition to many because of its mix of high-end specs and budget price of Rs 9999 for the 2GB/16GB model and Rs 11999 for the 3GB/32GB one.

The flagship smartphone is coming out here sometime in May.
