The Acer Predator 15 and 17 have been launched in India along with a number of desktops, monitors, CPU and projectors aimed at dedicated gamers in the country. The products are set to hit online and offline outlets across the nation soon.
The price of the Acer Predator 15 and 17 starts at Rs 179000 which includes a headset, mouse, mousepad and backpack. Both run on Windows 10 Home and are powered by a 6th Generation Intel Core i7 processor working in tandem with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M GPU.
Specs-wise, buyers can either opt for a 1080p or 4K resolution screen for the Acer laptops. The two feature a triple fan design in order make sure the device doesn’t get heated up. There’s also a separate Predator FrostCore fan module which plugs into the optical drive for enhanced cooling intensive gaming sessions.
The Predator 15 and 17 come with DustDefender technology which keeps the laptops dirt-free thanks to alternating airflow directions and an ultrathin metal fan dubbed AeroBlade. A Killer DoubleShot Pro function allows online gamers to enjoy lag-free sessions thanks to combining Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections together.

Users also get to choose which applications can utilize their bandwidth. As for sound, Acer has chosen to equip each laptop with different systems. The Predator 15 goes for a SoundPound 2.1 setup which consists of 2 speakers and 1 subwoofer. The Predator 17 offers SoundPound 4.2 with 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers.
