The Sony SRS-XB3 portable wireless speaker has been launched in India, with the brand hoping to attract buyers with its advanced bass abilities. It’s been slapped with a Rs 12990 price tag, but is up for sale at Rs 9990 via a couple of online stores.

The main headline-grabber when it comes to the Sony SRS-XB3 is its dedicated extra bass button to add an extra kick of impact to any song. The brand claims the sound produced is tailor-made for dance music. It’s come up with a unique digital signal processor (DSP) for this purpose, making sure the device delivers punchy bass and loudness.

The 1.89-inch full-range driver of the SRS-XB3 additionally ships with an embedded magnet and long stroke to make deep bass output possible. The company has further equipped it with a light diaphragm for high sound pressure and dual passive radiators for superior bass ranges.
