Sony A6300 mirrorless camera out in India at Rs 74990

The Sony A6300 has finally made its way to India, a few months after the camera made its international debut. The brand is bundling the device with a 16 – 50mm f/3.5 – f/5.6 lens and has slapped it with a Rs 74990 price tag.

The main center of attention when it comes to the mirrorless Sony A6300 is its lightning-quick autofocus abilities thanks to an all-new 4D Focus system. The company asserts that the product is the fastest autofocus interchangeable-lens digital camera in the world and can focus on an image within 0.05 seconds.

The A6300 has been armed with over 425 phase detection AF points which the manufacturer claims is the most for digital cameras across the globe. This combined with the high-density tracking AF technology helps it to quickly follow moving objects in action and perform nearly twice as fast as its predecessor.

Another major highlight of the Sony camera is its 4K video recording abilities. Specs-wise, it’s been equipped with a 24.2MP Exmor CMOS image sensor and Bionz X image processing engine. A newly redesigned layout with copper wiring allows for a higher ISO range of 100 to 512004 with reduced noise in images.

Sony is also touting the ruggedness of the camera. It’s fitted the gadget with a magnesium alloy body which can supposedly keep moisture and dust at bay thanks to sealed buttons and double-layered interlocking components. The device’s lens mount has additionally been reinforced so it can better handle heavy telephoto or film-shooting lenses.

Like we said above, the Sony A6300 costs Rs 74990 and will be sold via the brand’s outlets and major electronic shops across India.
