There’s a new Reliance Jio Cricket Pack catering to avid watchers of the Indian Premier League out. The company’s released a couple of cricket-focused plans ever since the start of the 2018 season, mainly focusing on data.
The latest Reliance Jio Cricket Pack comes right at the tail end of the IPL 2018. Only the finale is left to stream now. The deal offers 2GB of 4G data every day for 4 days. This equals to 8GB of data in all. Speeds reduce to 64Kbps if the 2GB limit gets exhausted.
Reliance Jio Cricket Pack Free
Jio hasn’t actually clarified just who will be getting the access to the scheme. Users are reportedly receiving the offer for free. The company appears to be giving it away as a complimentary add-on pack without any request on the customer’s end.
People can check if they’ve gotten the Cricket Pack by going to the My Plans section in the MyJio app. It should be listed at an MRP of Rs 101. There aren’t any free SMSes or calling benefits associated with the plan. This is to be expected since it’s just a top-up plan meant for the last few days of the IPL 2018.

Reliance Jio had previously rolled out a Rs 251 IPL 2018 deal which stuck around for 51 days. Subscribers to the offer got 2GB of data on a daily basis. This totals to 102GB of data all-in-all. Plus, individuals got unlimited calling and SMSes. The telecom operator then followed this up with a Cricket Teaser Pack which served up 8GB of data at no cost.
It should be noted that the data in these cricket-themed plans can be used for anything, not just streaming cricket matches. Reliance has a live mobile game called Jio Cricket Play Along running right now. It lets users play for prizes and offers real-time interactions during matches.
