The Vivo X21 launch is set for May 29 in India, but the company has decided to kick things off a bit early. The phone has already gone up for pre-bookings on the brand’s site with a couple of launch offers.
Interested customers will have to pay Rs 2000 as an advanced pre-ordering amount. Once this is done, they’ll get an email with a coupon for Rs 2000. They then have to use this on May 29 after the Vivo X21 launch is over.

All early birds will get a 5% cashback on SBI credit cards and no cost EMIs for up to 12 months. They’ll also receive a year’s worth of device security and 280GB of data from Vodafone. Plus, Vivo is giving away a Ferns N Petals voucher worth Rs 1000.
Vivo hasn’t revealed what the price of the phone is yet. It costs CNY 3598 in China. This translates to roughly Rs 37954 in India. Whatever the official rate is, the handset will definitely fall on the more premium side of things compared to other smartphones in the company’s portfolio.

That’s because the X21 boasts of an under-display fingerprint scanner. It’s one of the world’s first devices to do so. The innovation allows for a bezel-less design all around, except for the notch at the top. The phone even offers a Face Wake 2.0 tool to unlock the handset using IR light and 3D mapping.
