The OnePlus 5’s launch is only a day away now, but that hasn’t stopped a flood of leaks from rolling in to reveal key details about the handset. The latest such one gives away the costs associated with its 2 variants.

As per a Weibo post, the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM OnePlus 5 is going to set buyers in India back by Rs 32999. The 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM model is apparently set to go even higher at Rs 37999. Both these figures are in line with a previous leak, making them a bit more authentic.

The Chinese source also claims that the OnePlus 5 will go up for sale in India at 4:30 pm on June 22. To recap, the handset is getting announced internationally on June 20 and in the subcontinent on June 22 at 2 pm. It’s possible the brand will indeed begin selling the smartphone on the same day.

OnePlus is certainly pulling out all the stops to carry out a successful launch in India, even inserting an ad for the handset during the ICC Champions Trophy final between India and Pakistan. Amitabh Bachchan stars in the spot, opening a box and admiring the handset within.

It’s only at the end that a few seconds of the OnePlus 5 can be clearly seen. The device waltzes into view, providing a clean look at its front and back. As expected, the phone looks very similar to the iPhone 7 Plus thanks to the presence of horizontally arranged dual cameras and curved antenna bands.
