The Meizu M2 is being sold via an open sale on December 24, the smartphone’s fifth consecutive one in India. It’s priced at Rs 6999 and can be bought through e-commerce site Snapdeal.
The China-based brand hasn’t revealed any specific details regarding the earlier open sales of the Meizu M2, only saying that the fifth one was being held due to the enthusiastic response it received during the previous ones. It had earlier asserted that batches of the phone got sold out within the span of a day during prior occasions.
Diving into its features, the 4G-ready M2 displays it’s visuals through a 5-inch IPS fully laminated display with a resolution of 1280 x 720p. It possesses a pixel density of 296ppi and is protected by a layer of Asahi Dragontrail glass. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s own Flyme OS 4.5 on top.

Coming to its photography abilities, the Meizu device has been blessed with a 13MP rear camera which comes with a Samsung CMOS sensor, an aperture of f/2.2, LED flash, and a 5-element lens. The manufacturer claims its FotoNation 2.0 smart selfie enhancement tool help the 5MP front-facing snapper calculate a precise white balance adjustment.
