OnePlus 2 begins receiving OxygenOS 2.2.0 upgrade

Owners of the OnePlus 2 have begun receiving an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to OxygenOS version 2.2.0, which promises to fix various issues and bring some holiday cheer to the handset. The brand says the update will be rolled out gradually and asks its customers to be patient if they don’t get it right away.

People can manually check if they’ve gotten the upgrade by heading to Settings, selecting About Phone and finally choosing System Updates. A major issue which OxygenOS 2.2.0 resolves is the one where the OnePlus 2 was unable to properly switch between the main SIM card and the secondary SIM card.
