Motorola phones now cheaper via Amazon sale

Motorola has announced a host of discounts for a number of its devices selling via Amazon India as part of an inaugural offer. Its offerings have been slowly migrating to the e-commerce site for a while now, ever since it broke its exclusive partnership with Flipkart last year.

The special discounts are valid from March 1 to 4 or until stocks run out. The cuts are applicable on most of Motorola’s portfolio on Amazon except for the Moto X Force which still retails for Rs 49999. This is disappointing, but makes sense given the handset had arrived in India only a month ago.

Other than the outright reduction in cost, interested buyers can also take advantage of a 10% cashback scheme for SBI credit and debit cards with an upper ceiling limit of Rs 1500. Moving on to the smartphones, the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G is now up for grabs at Rs 5999 instead of the regular Rs 6999.

This Rs 1000 cut in price common across a number of phones including the Moto G (3rd Gen) 8GB (Rs 8999), Moto G (3rd Gen) 16GB (Rs 9999) and Moto G Turbo Edition (Rs 11999). Furthermore, the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) smartwatch range have been granted a Rs 2000 reduction off its MRP.
