The Micromax Canvas Tab P702 has been unveiled in India, with the device now available exclusively via e-commerce site Snapdeal. It’s priced at Rs 7999, making it the latest tablet by the company to hit the entry-level marketplace in India.
The dual-SIM Micromax Canvas Tab P702 will face a lot of competition within the segment. It’s likely counting on 4G connectivity and a set of Dual Box DTS speakers for Hi-Fi sound output to help set it apart from other affordable tablets. There’s also its 3000mAh battery which can apparently go on for 250 hours of standby time and 3 hours of play time.
Micromax is also throwing in a couple of freebies to persuade potential buyers into purchasing the device. They’ll get 7 Kindle e-books worth Rs 1500, a pair of earphones, an USB OTG cable and a screen guard. The brand has also equipped the gadget with its own Firstouch platform which supports 10 regional languages for easy access.
