Gionee F103 with 4G LTE support launched for Rs 9999

The Gionee F103, the first member of the brand’s new series of smartphones, has been launched with a price tag of Rs 9999. There’s no definite date of release yet, but it’s expected to arrive in India soon.

In terms of design, the handset has a silver-coated metal frame and a glass back panel. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Amigo 3.0 and a 2400mAh battery. The latter is supposed to deliver up to 267 hours of standby time and 28 hours of talk time. The performance of the The Gionee F103 relies on a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The 4G-enabled handset contains 16GB of internal space, expandable till 32GB via a microSD card. It houses an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper. The dual-SIM F103 sports a 5-inch IPS 720p display protected by Dragontrail glass. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, microUSB 2.0 and A-GPS. It measures 143 x 70.3 x 7.95mm and weighs 136.6g with its battery.

The Gionee device will have to compete with other mid-range phones such as the K3 Note. The Lenovo smartphone costs the same but comes with better features such as its 5.5-inch full HD screen, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 SoC, 13MP rear lens and 3000mAh battery.

The Gionee F103 will be available in black, pearl white and dawn white colors. Like we mentioned above, it costs Rs 9999.
