Apple iPad Pro, Apple TV to arrive in India next week

The Apple iPad Pro is set to land in India sometime next week according to a new report. The company has listed the tablet on its website but is yet to give out any price or availability details.

The Apple iPad Pro was first announced back in September this year alongside the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. According to The Quint, the 32GB Wi-Fi only version of the device will retail for Rs 67900, the 64GB one at Rs 79900 and the Wi-Fi and 4G-enabled variant for Rs 91900.

Gadgets 360 claims that the iPad Pro will be sold without the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories in India for now, as the brand is facing global supply chain issues. It further said the firm’s retailers in the country have already begun receiving stock of the device.

The Apple product sports a 12.9-inch Retina 2732 x 2048p display with an eye-watering 5.6 million pixels. The new 64-bit A9X processor is apparently 1.8 times faster than the iPad Air 2 and offers double the GPU performance. It also comes with 4 high-fidelity speakers which adapt according to how the device is held.

Apple dealers in India apparently have the newest iteration of the Apple TV in stock as well. The US-based company is supposedly going to sell the 32GB version for Rs 13500 and the 64GB variant for Rs 17900. The gadget improves on its predecessor by providing support for the App Store and Siri, in addition to running on a dual-core A8 chip.
