Amazon 10.or D unveiled in India at just Rs 4999

The 10.or D has gotten launched in India, the third smartphone to come out of Amazon’s private label brand. The handset is part of the e-commerce site’s ‘Crafted for Amazon’ program which creates products which have been made in and designed specifically for India.

To be clear, the 10.or D is pronounced as ‘Tenor D.’ The series will have to compete with Flipkart’s own Billion brand which has released one device so far – the Capture+. The new handset itself will find a worthy rival in the Xiaomi Mi 5A with which it shares a similar set of specs and price tag.

Speaking of the cost, the 10.or D will set buyers back by a mere Rs 4999 for its 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM variant. The rate gets upped to Rs 5999 for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. Amazon is offering Prime members an additional year of warranty with the phone.

One of the top highlights of the 10.or D is its 3500mAh battery. The powerhouse is supposed to go on for 2 days without needing to be plugged in. In terms of numbers, it can apparently last for 25 hours of talk time and 70 hours of music playback. The handset further runs on a stock version of Android Nougat, with an update to Oreo on the way.
