The Xolo Q700 Club is a brand new water- and dust-resistant smartphone that has been listed officially at a price of Rs 6999. It has yet to make its appearance through online retailers, though sites like Flipkart, Snapdeal and Infibeam are likely to start offering it up for grabs once it’s available.
Hiding dual SIM slots under the hood, the Xolo Q700 Club is a pretty mediocre device which makes the cheaper Redmi 1S look good. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and works on a quad core MediaTek chip clocked at 1.3GHz. There’s 1GB of RAM as well as 8GB of ROM which can be supplemented by slipping in a 32GB microSD card.
This Xolo handset gets its kicks from the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. The company says that you should be able to squeeze out up to 9 hours of talk time or 550 hours of standby on 3G from the 2000mAh battery inside. It is capable of surfing 3G networks and sports the usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
