Xiaomi Mi TV 4C leaked via accidental listing

Xiaomi is planning to show off a new line of TVs in India at an event on March 7. However, the company has accidentally spoiled its own surprise by prematurely putting the Mi TV 4C up for sale on its website.

The listing was for the 43-inch Mi LED Smart TV 4C and the page was live for long enough that a couple of people managed to get screenshots of it. The link is no longer alive, redirecting people to the already-announced 55-inch Mi TV 4 instead.

The 43-inch Mi TV 4C was listed at a Rs 27999 price tag after receiving a 15% discount from its original rate of Rs 32999. Of course, this was an early listing and there’s no guarantee that these will be the same figures we’ll see on March 7.

Still, they at least provide a rough idea of what to expect. It seems the Indian variant of the Mi TV 4C packs 32GB of ROM and 3GB of RAM inside. That may explain why the 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM model which was released in China last year is less expensive at CNY 1849 (about Rs 18999).

The Chinese Mi TV 4C boasted of specs like Wi-Fiac connectivity, a quad-core Amlogic T962 processor, a FHD screen, DTS Audio, Dolby sound, Bluetooth 4.2, and HDR 10 support. Xiaomi might also go ahead and launch the smaller 32-inch Mi TV 4A in India.

The television goes for CNY 1099 (roughly Rs 11290) in China, making it one of the cheapest TVs around. Stay tuned for more on Xiaomi’s plans on March 7.
