Vodafone now offers data rollover for RED postpaid plans

Vodafone India has decided to announce data rollover plans for its customers, a few months after Airtel did the same. Not everyone will benefit from the change though, as the operator has limited this incentive to RED customers.

There are now 3 categories of Vodafone’s RED plans namely RED Traveler, RED International, and RED Signature. All of them except for the basic Rs 499 and Rs 699 one offer a free Netflix subscription for 6 months, varying in worth between Rs 1000 and Rs 3000. Data benefits start from 20GB and end up at 200GB.

Another factor which each of them have in common is unlimited local, STD, and national roaming. Vodafone says the revamped plans will make sure users never pay for calls within India and never waste data thanks to the new data rollover facility. Up to 200GB of data can be accumulated by a person in all the packs except for the most expensive Rs 2999 RED Signature plan which allows for 500GB.

Other benefits include free Vodafone Play access for watching movies and live TV, a free 4-month Magzter subscription which allows access to 5 magazines per month, 100 free local and national SMSes, and RED Shield security for protection against damage and theft for 4 months. People will further get priority access at stores and retain a dedicated Relationship Manager.
