Vivo Y55L dual SIM 4G phone launched for Rs 11980

Vivo has launched a new smartphone dubbed the Vivo Y55L with dual SIM 4G VoLTE support in India for a price of Rs 11980. The device is claimed to play successor to the Y51L. It will be sold via offline retail stores from October 15.

One of the features that makes the Y55L stand out from other smartphones in its segment is its support for two 4G SIM cards. A third slot for a microSD card is also present on the gadget. Its 5MP front camera is enabled with an LED flash for illuminating selfies.

Vivo has supplemented the 8MP front shooter of the Y55L with ultra HD technology. It is capable of combining six consecutive shots to form images of up to 32MP resolution. The phone also has an eye protection mode that filters out blue light to reduce strain on the user’s eyes.

The Y55L is powered by 2GB RAM together with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. It is host to an upgraded Smart Split service that can display two running applications at once. Users can multitask easily through this split screen feature on the handset.
