New Vivo Y21L announced with 4G VoLTE support

Vivo has launched the Y21L, enabling it with 4G VoLTE connectivity and selling it in a grey and white color variant. It’s the latest offering from the brand’s budget phone stable and is host to some of their signature specifications.

For its worth, the Y21L has a 4.5-inch display in FWVGA resolution. Its 1GB RAM works in tandem with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor. The phone’s 16GB internal memory can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. It runs the Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset has a 2000mAh battery.

The Y21L has a 5MP rear and 2MP front lens. Vivo’s ever-present Palm Capture option enables you to take selfies as soon as you show your palm to the camera. This phone also has the Voice Capture component that it borrows from its predecessor to shoot images by saying ‘cheese’ instead of clicking.

Two other characteristics on the Y21L are the Smart Wake and Smart Click feature. The former can open up apps like Facebook from the lock screen by swiping F or other letters depending upon what is to be used. Using the latter, you can access your customized services by just holding the volume button without unlocking the whole device.
