Swipe Elite 2 4G phone launched at Rs 4666

The Swipe Elite 2 has been launched in India and will be available under a preview sale for Uber users from October 30 till November 7. The offer is only applicable for riders in Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore and Delhi.

The dual-SIM Swipe Elite 2 is priced at Rs 4666 and will hit Flipkart on November 7. To purchase the handset during the weeklong preview sale, Uber customers will have to upload their receipt to Swipe’s website. The phone will be shipped to them through cash-on-delivery. Some people even stand the chance to get the smartphone for free.

The Elite 2 has joined the long list of entry-level 4G devices available in India. The smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540p) IPS screen and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. In terms of memory, it packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal space. Consumers can add up to 32GB of extra space via a microSD card slot.

Coming to its camera capabilities, the Swipe phone carries an 8MP primary lens with LED flash. Selfies can be taken through its 5MP front-facing shooter. Under the hood, it’s fueled by a quad-core 64-bit 1.3GHz processor and a 1900mAh battery. Connectivity options consist of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS.
