The Swipe Elite has been launched and is the first member of the brand’s new series of online-only budget smartphones. It’s attached with a Rs 5999 price tag and will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting from August 19.
The home-grown manufacturer has positioned the phone competitively against the likes of Xiaomi and Micromax by packing the Swipe Elite with respectable specs for its market segment. It has a 5-inch IPS 720p curved glass screen. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The dual-SIM Swipe device sports a 13MP main camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing lens for selfies. It contains 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The brand has further equipped the phone’s 2500mAh battery with ‘super charge’ technology.

The Elite is the first to have the company’s new Freedom OS. It’s layered over Android 5.0 Lollipop and is basically a skin which allows for various customization options. It comes with features such as Swipe Box, combining all of the user’s cloud storage to provide 100GB of online space, and Assist X, allowing people to directly call or chat with a customer care executive.
