Xiaomi has announced plans to host a special Diwali sale in India where it will offer products at Rs 1 through a flash sale. The event is set to take place from November 3 to 5.
Folks who want to take part in the Rs 1 offer will have to share the Xiaomi flash sale promotion through Twitter or Facebook. They have until 5th November to do so, keeping in mind the window to share the link will close two hours before the selling takes place. The sale will take place twice on each of the three days at 2 pm and 6 pm.
Once a user has shared the promotion, they become eligible for all the Diwali vending. Xiaomi has dubbed the event a ‘masked’ flash sale, meaning people will not be able to see what they are buying until the product is added to their cart. Unfortunately, the manufacturer is not bundling warranty services with items bought under the deal.
Xiaomi is also promising to vend the Mi 4 16GB, Mi 4i 16GB, Redmi 2 Prime and Mi Pad at reduced prices. It hasn’t given any clues as to how much the discount could be. There will also be a general sale of products like the Mi Band and In-Ear Headphones starting from 10 am. The brand is additionally giving away the as-yet unreleased Mi TV 2S to one person on each day.
