The LG G6 has officially been launched in India and will hit offline stores and Amazon starting from April 25. The handset is priced at Rs 51990 and is being bundled with a number of limited-period deals.
Chief among them is an Amazon India offer which will allow buyers to get Rs 10000 as cashback if they purchase the LG G6 via a HDFC or SBI credit card. This deal is only valid on April 25. Reliance Jio has also partnered with the South Korean brand, promising to give away an extra 10GB of data for every recharge of Rs 309.
Jio users can avail up to 100GB of free data under the scheme till March 2018. There’s also a host of pre-booking offers on hand if the LG phone is snapped up via the company’s site or physical retailers. Early birds with SBI or HDFC cards who get it before May 1 will be rewarded with Rs 7000 as cashback. This will drop to Rs 5000 after that till May 31.
They’ll also get to take advantage of a 50% discount on the Tone Active+ HBS-A100 headset. It remains to be seen how well the G6 will do in India in the face of flagship competition from the recently-released Samsung Galaxy S8. Both devices offer unique bezel-free screens as its trump card.
