LG G6 cost, release date leaked ahead of India launch

The LG G6 is all set to launch in India on April 24 and is currently up for pre-booking via offline outlets and the brand’s site. A Mumbai-based retailer has now leaked out the price and release date of the smartphone ahead of its unveiling.

As per Mahesh Telecom, the LG G6 will set buyers back by Rs 51900 and come in stock on April 29. The figure closely falls in line with the handset’s KRW 899800 (roughly Rs 51200) cost in South Korea, so the leak might just turn out to be accurate.

If true, the value would also make it less expensive than the Galaxy S8 which was launched at Rs 57900 a few days ago. The LG phone is directly competing with the Samsung offering since both offer nearly bezel-less screens dubbed Full Vision and Infinity Display, respectively.
