The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are all set to go up for pre-orders on September 22 in India and retailers are starting to announce all the offers which will be up for grabs. Reliance Jio is among them, with plans to bundle the pair with cashbacks, buyback guarantees, and exclusive tariff schemes.
The 64GB iPhone 8 is priced at Rs 64000 and the 128GB one at Rs 77000. The iPhone 8 Plus ups the ante to Rs 73000 and Rs 86000, correspondingly. Anyone who buys the handsets via Reliance Digital outlets, Jio stores, the Jio website can get a Rs 10000 cashback as long as they purchase it via a Citibank credit card.
Even if they don’t have a Citibank credit card at hand, consumers can still take advantage of a buyback deal which grants them 70% of the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus’ value if they return their model within a year’s time. This is clearly a huge amount and will likely find takers among people who frequently upgrade handsets on an annual basis.
Plus, it works as a sort-of insurance in case the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus doesn’t meet their expectations and they want to get rid of it after a year of usage. There’s no mention of the state the iPhone has to be in, but it’ll probably have to be in a good condition. The only caveat mentioned is that the user will have to utilize a Jio SIM throughout that period of time.

Owners can opt for a Rs 799 scheme which supplies 90GB of data, free Jio apps subscriptions, and unlimited SMSes and calls. It’ll be valid for one billing cycle for postpaid customers and 28 days for prepaid ones.
