The Intex Aqua V5 has been listed on the company’s website but is yet to receive a formal announcement or official launch date. It’s expected to be released in a few days attached with a Rs 2825 price tag.
As one would expect at that value, the 3G-ready Intex Aqua V5 features very basic specs. The phone possesses a 3.5-inch TFT HVGA (320 x 480p) screen and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It’s powered by a 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7715A processor and a 1100mAh battery, which the brand claims can survive for almost 4 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
On the memory front, the dual-SIM Intex device has 512MB of ROM and 256MB of RAM. The inbuilt space can be expanded up till 32GB using a microSD card. People interested in buying the device will probably need one since the internal storage provided is too less for everyday use. The handset houses a 2MP rear camera with flash and a 0.3MP front-facing lens. It measures 115.9 x 62 x 11.8mm and weighs 100g.
