Huawei launches three smartphones – Ascend G6, Ascend G750 and Honor 3C

Huawei has signed up cricket team Royal Challengers Bangalore to launch its three new smartphones in India Ascend G6, Ascend G750 and Honor 3C. The three devices are headed for the mid-range section and have looks to match their prices.

The Huawei Ascend G750 sports a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen which would have been better if it could handle full HD resolution instead of the 720p HD visuals it spews out. A 1.7GHz octa core processor ticks away at the heart of this device and there’s 2GB of RAM to help it along. The Android Jelly Bean phone embeds dual SIM card slots, a 5MP front snapper for clicking those selfies and a 13MP main camera.

The Huawei Honor 3C is yet another Jelly Bean phablet with its 5-inch (yet again, 720p HD resolution) display and it was revealed in 2013 along with the Honor 3X. The smartphone could be a nice answer to the Moto G with its 5MP front lens, an 8MP main camera and a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad core chipset. It also has 1GB of of RAM onboard apart from 8GB internal memory and dual SIM card slots.

The Huawei Ascend G6 is similar to the Honor 3C, even though it costs more. The front side is taken up by a 4.5-inch qHD screen crowned by a 5MP camera. This is complemented by an 8MP camera on the back. Android Jelly Bean 4.3 powers the show and the other specs cover 1GB RAM, 4G LTE connectivity and a 2000mAh battery. Explaining the higher price is a quad core chip from Qualcomm instead of MediaTek.

The Huawei Honor 3C will hit shelves for Rs 14999. The Ascend G6 and Ascend G750 are priced at Rs 16999 and Rs 24999, in that order.
