OnePlus buyback offer lets you exchange your old phone for up to Rs 16000

OnePlus has introduced a new exchange scheme offer for anyone looking to buy the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X. The brand promises buyback values of up to Rs 16000 through the deal, a sizable amount for someone planning to sell an old phone.

OnePlus had come out with a similar exchange offer a few months ago, though the terms and conditions were a bit different then. Like before, it’s joined hands with Amazon and ReGlobe for the initiative. However, the current deal involves buying the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X as the first step, meaning you won’t be able to get a quote on your old handset beforehand.

OnePlus Exchange Scheme

After buying your chosen OnePlus handset, you’ll have to take down the order ID and click on Mobile BuyBack on the Amazon purchased mobile page. Once you’ve agreed to the rules, you’ll be taken to the ReGlobe website where you’ll have to answer questions about your old smartphone and key in your Order ID.

ReGlobe will then present a quote for the device. If you agree to the value and the area serviceability and phone availability checks out, the company is supposed to schedule a pick-up time and give away cash on the spot. Note that it may change the buyback amount depending on the actual condition of the handset.

The ReGlobe representative will check for various factors such as age and functional defects. If you’re not happy with the new buyback value, you have the option of not handing the device over to the company. You can read more about the OnePlus exchange scheme here.
