The Zync Cloud lineup of Android smartphone has a new member, the Z401, which can be purchased for a very pocket-wallet-friendly price of Rs 4,499. It falls in the entry-level category, but brings most of the essential features.
For starters, it serves Gingerbread which is garnished with the Ice Cream Sandwich UI and shows off a 4-inch capacitive display complete with the IPS technology. Visuals are spurted out in 480 x 800p resolution. On the front panel, you will also see a webcam with a 0.3MP lens that facilitates not only clicking selfies, but also video conferencing over the internet. The flip side is graced by a 2MP camera for capturing photos and videos.
The light in weight phone measures merely 114 grams and its chassis is drenched in either black or white shades. On the exterior, the company has carved out a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro USB port, a SIM card slot and a microSD expansion bay for increasing the internal memory by up to 32GB.
This 2G-enabled smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor and 256MB of RAM as well as a lithium-ion battery of 1300mAh capacity. It features 512MB of onboard hoarding space and has a couple of sensors too. Moreover, as it is based on the Android platform, it naturally lets you visit the Google Play store and download multiple applications and games.
The Zync Cloud Z401 has hit retail stores across India for the price mentioned above and can also be purchased through e-retailers such as Flipkart, Naaptol, Indiatimes, Homeshop18, Infibeam and more.
