ZTE Blade V6, Axon Mini unveiled in India

The ZTE Blade V6 and Axon Mini have been launched in India and are all set to hit Spice Hotspots in Delhi starting from July 26. The handsets cater to different market sectors, with the former targeting entry-level consumers and the latter mid-range customers.

Starting things off with the ZTE Axon Mini, the smartphone has been carved out of an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and comes with a unique triangle moiré hollow symmetric design along the top and bottom to set it apart from rivals. The company has blessed it with three biometric security options namely a fingerprint sensor, voice control and eye scanner.

As for specs, the ZTE smartphone sports a 5.2-inch AMOLED full HD 2.5D curved-edge screen which outputs a pixel density of 423ppi. A 13MP camera can be found on its back, equipped with laser autofocus, an aperture of f/2.2, and a Samsung 3M2 sensor. It’s paired with an 8MP front-facing snapper accompanied by a 5P aspherical lens.

While the Axon Mini is priced at Rs 23599, the Blade V6 is much cheaper at Rs 9999. The dual-SIM phone houses an iPhone-esque design complete with an aluminum body. It’s got a decent set of features for an entry-level device like its 5-inch 720p screen and 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor.

In terms of memory, the Blade V6 packs 16GB of ROM and 2GB of RAM. Photography hounds can click photos through its 13MP rear camera which offers dual-LED flash. The module has been placed alongside a 5MP selfie snapper with an 88-degree wide-angle lens.

Once again, the ZTE Blade V6 and Axon Mini are out now and can be snapped up at Rs 9999 and Rs 23599, respectively.
