The Xolo Play Tegra Note tablet that first appeared in September, is finally ready to hit the market scene and Flipkart has already called dibs on it. But instead of the Rs 17,000 price tag that we had expected the device to carry, it comes with a label of Rs 18,990 stuck across it. The device has not been released as yet, but users can enter their email addresses on the eretailer to get notifications about its arrival.
The device optimized for gaming utilizes the Tegra Note platform and is fueled by the Tegra 4 Cortex A15 processor which can clock in a maximum speed of 1.8GHz. This quad core chipset has been bestowed with an extra core which helps users save up on battery life. A 72-core Nvidia GeForce GPU accompanies the chip and takes up the responsibility of maintaining an enhanced graphics performance.
Based on the Android platform, the Xolo tablet employs a 7-inch LED backlit IPS touchscreen of 1280 x 720p resolution on the front side along with a 0.3MP webcam. A 5MP camera with features like HDR, auto focus, Tap-to-Track and more sits comfortably on the rear surface.
Its total internal memory amounts to 16GB and you have the option of increasing it further by up to 32GB using a microSD card. It boasts of common features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, email support and more and coughs up the juice for video playback time of close to 10 hours.
Flipkart has not mentioned any release window for the Xolo Play Tegra Note tablet, but we will let you know as soon as anything is revealed about it.
