Karbonn Titanium X is now official, it’s a full HD quad core smartphone

The Karbonn Titanium X had appeared on the company’s website in early November, bare of release date or price details. Well, it’s out now and its price tag has been revealed too. We must say, Karbonn’s given the Android smartphone a pretty unusual shape and this paired along with the white color, lends a nice elegant touch to the device.

Since the Titanium X sports a 5″ display, it’s more in the league of a phablet. This screen is enhanced with IPS technology so that it’s viewable from various angles and the resolution (as reported earlier) is 1920 x 1080p full HD. A 1.5GHz quad core chipset sits at its center and 1GB of RAM keeps it going.

Karbonn Titanium X

The Karbonn Titanium X works on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and there’s no mention of an upgrade to 4.3 at least. Karbonn has chosen to go with 16GB of internal memory with this one. In case 16GB is not good enough, you can always add in up to 32GB extra via the integrated microSD card slot.

A 13MP camera holds fast to the rear panel of the Titatnium X, while a 5MP lens is placed above the touchscreen. There’s a 2300mAh battery powering the handset. It is noted to offer up to 6 hours of talk time, possibly on 3G networks.

Interested? You’ll need to shell out Rs 18,490 for the smartphone.
