Xolo Q1000 Opus now receiving Android KitKat 4.4.2 update

Xolo has started offering the Android KitKat 4.4.2 update for the Q1000 Opus smartphone that it launched in December 2013 with Jelly Bean onboard. If you’re hanging on to any other Xolo device hoping the company will give it a KitKat break, you should know that Google has designed its latest OS to be compatible with all handsets from low end to top range ones.

So smaller brands can actually deploy their phones with Android KitKat 4.4.2 onboard to make them more appealing. The update for the Xolo Q1000 Opus can be downloaded over Wi-Fi or a good mobile data connection. In the absence of both, you can use your PC’s internet connection to get the software upgrade by following this link.
