Xiaomi Mi Max now available via open sale in India

The Xiaomi Mi Max has officially been released from its flash sale chains and made its way to multiple online retailers in India. The massive phablet is now available via Amazon, Snapdeal, Tata Cliq, Paytm, and Flipkart.

To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Max had gotten launched in the country about two weeks ago. The brand had said that it planned to vend the smartphone via its website through a flash sale on July 6, after which it would sell the handset through its partner platforms on July 13.

The shift in strategy should come as a relief to interested buyers who are eager to get their hands on the Mi Max without having to go through the trouble of registering themselves and clicking frantically in order to buy the phone. An open system should further ensure stronger sales for the handset now that availability is not an issue.

Xiaomi has notably only released the 3GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM and Snapdragon 650 version of the phablet in India. It’s apparently planning to out a 4GB of RAM, 128GB of ROM and Snapdragon 652 model of the smartphone in the country as well, though it hasn’t specified when exactly this will happen.
