This may not be the first time we’ve heard about the white LG Google Nexus 4 release date, but recent developments have the OEM rendering the smartphone’s press shots as well as availability details. For some time now, certain speculations have pegged June 10 as a tentative day of launch for the device, but it so happens that the handset’s arrival has been set for tomorrow starting with Hong Kong and it will continue journeying across Asia, North America, Europe and Middle East in the weeks to come.
A source which had initially fetched a similar information, had moreover mentioned that the search engine leader could announce the next version of its platform on the same date (think along the lines of edition 4.3). But so far, there is no such news from the Mountain View folks.
In any case, the handset has arrived offering a generous helping of Android Jelly Bean’s version 4.2 and resembles its black-hued sibling in most aspects. For starters, there’s a 4.7-inch True HD IPS touchscreen spread across the front panel together with a 1.3MP webcam, whereas the flip side bears an 8MP camera.
Embedded below is the picture of the upcoming smartphone, with a different rear. Well, we cannot in the literal sense call the handset white, seeing as only its flip side has been painted with the shade, while its front panel retains a similar black hue like the regular version (E960).
Explaining the color alterations, the device takes up E960W as the model number. Although the handset is meant to hit stores tomorrow, the company hasn’t specified anything in terms of the storage configuration it will hold onto. Also, there may be some not-so-good news heading towards those expecting a plausible 32GB variant.
As per the speculations, the manufacturer will release only the white Google Nexus 4 possessing 16GB and 8GB onboard memory. Nonetheless, we have no reasons to believe why its price should be any different from the retail value of the black-hued model.
