Weber-Stephen Products has unveiled a new application called the Weber’s On the Grill for the iPhone. This innovative application will offer a wide range of recipes along with other facilities.
Through the application, customers can tag their favorite recipes and even make a personal list of items to be purchased from the grocery store. It will also include a simple check box which users can mark off as they finish purchasing those items. The application will organize and sort the ingredients required by the itemized list.
Brooke Jones, Weber marketing manager remarked, “Grilling should be fun and easy and not bogged down with time consuming preparation and confusion. At Weber, we aim to educate our consumers on how to become better grillers with a wealth of knowledge including recipes, techniques, and guides. With this new application we take it one step further, bringing grilling into the age of cutting-edge technology with many instructional features such as demonstration videos that illustrate key grilling lessons like how to set up a two-zone charcoal fire. It’s a mobile grilling companion that you can take with you wherever you go.”
He further added, “We are extremely excited about this addition to our grilling repertoire. With this new application from Weber, every person can be a backyard hero and grill meals to perfection.”
Near about 250 tested as well as mouth watering recipes for 40 rubs, marinades and sauces will be featured by the application. In addition to that, 100 quick grilling tips and guiding guidelines for red meat, pork, poultry, seafood, veggies and fruit will also be included.
Detailed information on techniques such as dealing with flare-ups, food preparation like positioning chickens on a rotisserie, and grilling safety and maintenance will be offered. Besides, the application will incorporate short demonstration videos as well.
Users can download the Weber’s On the Grill application through the Apple iTunes App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch for $4.99.
