Wait for it: Either Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo or S5 Mini in the making right now

We’re used to receiving news about smaller versions of flagship smartphones even before their big cousins are released, and that’s exactly the case with the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo or the S5 mini, one among which has just been leaked out in the open. A mystery smartphone has been spotted in the wild which is pointing fingers towards the launch of one of the two models.

A user agent profile pulled from Samsung’s servers is the culprit of this leak. Spotted by Galaxy Club, it talks about a handset which goes by the model number SM-G750. Judging by this, it is most probably an AT&T device. Furthermore, the profile also reveals some of its main specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S5

These include a 2.3GHz quad core processor which is most probably a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. But it’s the screen resolution which has thrown the debate open as to whether it’s the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo or the S5 mini. Revealed to be 720 x 1280 pixels, it could very well be pushed into a small screen device just like with the S4 mini.

The case with Neo devices is that they don’t grab much smaller displays than their parent phones. This way, the S5 mini could cram an HD resolution into a 5.1-inch display. The speculation on this is hence marred by confusion. Moving on, the user agent profile reveals the OS of this handset to be Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

We’re hoping to hear something more about this apparent handset which can either be the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo or the S5 mini in the weeks to come.
