Vodafone Essar co-brands Opera Mini browser in India

Opera, Vodafone Logos Vodafone Essar along with Opera Software has brought to India a co-branded version of the Opera Mini mobile browser for its consumers. This news follows the extension of global frame agreement of Vodafone Group Services and Opera Software, earlier this year.

By co-branding the Opera Mini browser, Vodafone Essar is expected to offer its consumers a faster and improved web browsing experience. The browser can be accessed on any mobile phone operating on Vodafone network which has provisions for activating an internet connection.

“By expanding the partnership with Vodafone Essar, one of the largest Indian telecom operators, we are also expanding the connected world even more. To be part of that expansion, that is exciting. There’s good reason for the consumers to be excited too, as this opens up the Web for even more Indian mobile phone users who now have an easier time participating on the Web. Also, the efficiency of this mobile browser is enhanced by its compression technology which saves data traffic and can adapt to a wide range of devices all over the world.

The Vodafone Essar co-branded Opera Mini browser can now be downloaded on internet active Vodafone network operated handsets.
