The HTC Droid Incredible 2 in white is now being exclusively offered by Best Buy Mobile. The pearl hued smartphone will operate via Verizon Wireless network.
The global-ready Droid Incredible 2 operates on Android version 2.2 along with HTC Sense. It features a 4-inch LCD WVGA capacitive touchscreen and runs on a Qualcomm MSM8655 and 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Powered with a 1450mAh battery, it offers a talk time of up to 390 minutes and standby time of about 361 hours. It sports a 1.3MP front camera along with an 8MP main camera with autofocus and dual flash which allows 720p HD video recording. The device comes with a 16GB preinstalled SD card, externally supporting its 786MB RAM.
The 4.77 oz device measures 4.75mm x 2.52mm x .48mm (L X W X T). Other specific features of the device include SRS surround sound, compass sensor, G-sensor, proximity sensor, and light sensor. It also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack that enables connection of a variety of headphones of users’ choice and micro USB slot. The smartphone can also work as a 3G mobile hotspot, allowing up to five Wi-Fi activated devices. It is Bluetooth version 2.1+EDR and GPS enabled.
The Verizon Wireless HTC Droid Incredible 2 in white is offered via Best Buy Mobile for a price of $149.99 starting August 21, with new two year activation.
