Vivo Y27L with Hi-Fi audio released in India for Rs 13980

The Vivo Y27L has arrived in India and is now available across the country through official brand outlets for Rs 13980. A Mumbai-based retailer claims the phone is also selling via other offline stores for Rs 12990.

Going into its specs, the 4G-ready Vivo Y27L is powered by a 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, combined with an Adreno 306 GPU. The handset’s metal body is made up of magnesium alloy and its front surface sports a 4.7-inch IPS 720p screen. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat-based Funtouch OS 2.0 and a 2260mAh battery.

Vivo has granted the dual-SIM device an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies. The smartphone’s memory capabilities consist of 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. People can add up to 128GB of extra space through a microSD card slot. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, GPS and GLONASS.

The Y27L uses a custom-made AK4375 chip, created in collaboration with electronics manufacturer AKM, to deliver Hi-Fi audio. It comes in-built with a Long Screenshot feature which lets users snap multiple screens while scrolling a page. The images captured are then compiled into a single picture. The handset can additionally record videos of the display, which could be utilized to record a game.
