The Verizon Motorola Droid Razr release date and price has finally been announced and it looks like the phone will be here before the weekend. The much anticipated handset was first supposed to ship on the tenth day of this month. But now the release date has been changed to 11.11.11.
The device first gained attention as the Spyder, which later officially changed to Razr, or the Droid Razr for Verizon Wireless. Touted to be the one of the slimmest Android smartphones in the market, the Razr possesses a splash-guard body and is securely draped in Kevlar fiber, while the screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass.
The 7.1mm thin Razr is a 4G enabled phone. Its screen measures 4.3 inches and it is of the Super AMOLED Plus display type.
