Evernote emerges with the updated version of its note making app for Android. The highlights of the Evernote Android version 2.6 are inclusion of snippets, notebook stacks and edit style notes.
To begin with, the Snippet View has been designed for a dynamic experience providing most of the information in a small space. In case the note contains an image then Evernote will display the title, some text and a thumbnail. For only text, it shows the full width of the display to make optimum use of it.
Notebook Stacks was recently added to Windows and Mac. This feature allows users to visually group their notebooks. So, users who need to access any particular notebook from their phone-trip itineraries or shopping lists can create a stack called Mobile. Thus, it enables easier searches even when on the move.
The new update also lets users edit any note in their account, be it text notes, web clip, snapshot or audio note. Besides, some attributes like better sync, edit save searches, improved image scaling and faster note loading have also been included in this latest update.
