The Samsung U430 flip phone was previously launched by Verizon and now the Canadian network carrier Telus has launched this basic Samsung handset. According to Intomobile, the handset would be a good little device for anyone who wishes for a budget phone.
The handset is not a high-end device and includes some basic mobile phone features. It is built with a 0.3 megapixel digital camera and offers voice activated dialing using speech recognition. The internal display features 128 x 160 pixels resolution whereas the external display provides a resolution of 96 x 96 pixels.
The dimensions of the handset are 3.67″ x 1.85″ x 0.78″ and it weighs just 91 grams. The flip phone offers a talk time of around 3.5 hours and standby time of up to 300 hours. The device features Bluetooth technology for wireless accessories.
The plans that Telus offers for the basic flip phone include a 3-year contract for $29.99. They also present a two year contract at $99.99 and one year contract for $149.99. Users can also go ahead with a month-to-month plan that is priced at $199.99.
