By welcoming the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit under its roof, T-Mobile may have given shelter to a variant of the S3 mini. The carrier hasn’t openly declared its intentions with regards to the smartphone’s attendance in its lineup as of now and we still await a final confirmation for the same.
Assuming the network provider will be launching it, the Galaxy Exhibit will be the second S3 mini-esque model to be introduced through a stateside operator, first being the Axiom via US Cellular. This statement was made by the folks over at Unwired View and they have furthermore spoken of the device carrying a name tag similar to that of a 4G model.
The post on the website hasn’t disclosed much as far as the handset’s specifications are concerned. All we know as of now is that it might flash a model number plate that will read SGH-T599. It will be driven by a dual core processor and at the same time, users could expect to view pictures and videos in WVGA resolution. Also, there will be a 5MP main camera mounted onto the rear with an intention to take snapshots as well as record clips.
Going by the image embedded above, there should be a front-facing webcam as well and a flash sitting right below the main snapper. The handset will naturally be optimized for the Android OS. However, we hope it’s at least the 4.1 version of the OS, just like the S3 mini’s platform.
The report discloses only so much about the hardware components of the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit and the price details still seem pretty distant at present. However, the rumor doing the rounds reveals that the device may arrive in stores before the end of March. Those who have taken an affinity to it already can expect to spot the smartphone in pebble grey on purchase.
