The most recent announcement from Sprint reveals the upcoming availability of the LG Rumor 2 phone. It is the successor of the popular LG Rumor phone and may be a perfect device for people who prefer a phone that will keep them connected without spending much from their pocket.

The new LG Rumor 2 phone sports a full QWERTY keyboard that enables easy and precise typing for enhanced messaging and email. The phone features a QVGA TFT display screen integrated with 262K colors. It incorporates a 1.3 megapixel camera and removable backplate so that users can customize their handsets according to their choice.

The LG Rumor 2 phone includes a MP3 player and its impressive 16 GB memory will allow users to store in all their favorite songs. It is preloaded with Sprint Navigation function that provides turn-by-turn directions, voice and on-screen directions as well as more than 10 million business listings.

Users can easily access Microsoft Exchange Server and IBM Lotus Notes via Sprint Mobile Email Work. Besides this, users can also access popular web-based providers such as Windows Live, Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail.

While the Black Titanium color version of the phone will be available online from March 15, the vibrant blue color version will be available from March 29. The LG Rumor 2 phone will hit the stores on April 19. The phone is available for just $50 with a two year service agreement, after a $50 mail in rebate.
